Here’s a little on what we do
Webster has also developed a range of attachments for excavators. It was one of these attachments, the cutting head, which has now proved to be a recognised piece of equipment on many construction sites since it was first introduced twenty years ago.
We have extensive experience and knowledge within the Mining, Construction and Utilities Industries, supporting many prestigious projects. We specialise in the design and development of cutting tool attachment technology.
A number of these projects have involved the design and supply of bespoke machines, designed by our in house engineers. The original designers of the Rockwheel, an alternative to hydraulic hammers and buckets a. Webster Equipment offer the latest range of world class cutting tool attachment technology.
In May 2013 Webster Technologies formed a Strategic Partnership with Rokla GmbH who now manufactures the Rockwheel excavator attachments and sells internationally, this collaboration allows Webster Technologies to concentrate on the design of a number of new and exciting products and the UK‚ largest Rockwheel rental division. Webster Technologies are the only manufacturers to use a gear box and a direct drive system for their Rockwheels, this allows for a much more diverse range of product.
Webster began designing and manufacturing mining equipment for drilling, cutting and loading in 1965. We were the first to use hydraulics for cutting. After the closure of the UK coal mines, Webster needed to diversify into new markets. Machines for the construction industry were developed for shaft sinking and tunnelling. Also boom conversions for standard excavators were developed.
We specialise in the design and development of cutting tool attachment technology including excavators, for the construction, mining, nuclear and utilities industries.
